The Redskins come in off a 17-13 loss at home against the Vikings, and have now lost four of their last six games.This will be the first of two meetings between these two teams over the final five weeks of the season.If you are thinking about betting on the game this weekend, the current NFL spreads have the Giants favored by seven points over the Redskins at home.Washington (5-6)The Redskins offense couldn’t get anything going against the Vikings defense last Sunday. Washington managed just 216 yards of total offense with just 29 yards coming in the ground game.Quarterback Donovan McNabb completed 21 of 35 attempts for 211 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Fred Davis hauled in the touchdown pass from 10 yards out and finished with three catches for 25 yards.With Clinton Portis on IR and Ryan Torain inactive with a hamstring injury, Keiland Williams and James Davis were the top two backs, and they combined for just 16 yards on nine carries.Torain is questionable to return this week, and it appears the Redskins could definitely use him back in the lineup. After starting fast and falling apart last season, this win will give the Giants confidence over the final five games.Eli Manning had another fine day throwing the football, as he completed 14-of-24 for 226 yards and two touchdowns despite the fact that he was missing both Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith.Tight end Kevin Boss hauled in three passes for 74 yards and a score while Mario Manningham also had three catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.Brandon Jacobs got his first start of the season at running back and responded with a solid game, rushing for 87 yards on 14 carries.
